How it works

From install to shop-floor job in five steps.

PrintKit runs on top of the Shopify store you already have. No new checkout, no design software, and nothing for your team to learn on the shop floor. Here's the whole flow, start to finish.

1Install & choose

Install PrintKit & pick your builders

Add PrintKit from the Shopify App Store like any other app. Then switch on only the builders your shop actually runs — apparel, stickers, DTF, embroidery, UV, or any mix.

  • Installs in a couple of clicks from the App Store
  • Enable one builder or all six
  • Nothing else about your store changes

2Configure

Configure your products, your way

Set the colors, sizes, print areas, roll widths, cut lines and pricing your shop uses — all with point-and-click editors. If you can fill out a form, you can set up a builder.

  • No code and no design software
  • Your presses, your presets, your prices
  • Change anything later in seconds
Not technical? Every setting is a menu or a text box — there's nothing to install on your computer and no files to wrangle.

3Embed

Embed the builder on your storefront

Drop a builder onto any product page from the Shopify theme editor — the same place you edit the rest of your store. It picks up your fonts and colors and works on desktop and mobile.

  • Added like any other theme section
  • Matches your store's look automatically
  • Touch-first — smooth on phones

4Shopper designs

A shopper designs & checks out

Your customer builds their product live — art, text, placement, color and size — watches the price update, and pays through your own Shopify checkout.

  • Live pricing as they design
  • Resolution warnings before low-res art ships
  • Your existing checkout and payments
PrintKit never touches card data. All payment stays inside your own Shopify checkout, exactly as it does today.

Good to know

A few common questions

Do I need to be technical to set this up?
No. Every builder is configured with menus and text boxes inside your Shopify admin, and embedded from the same theme editor you already use. There's no code and no design software to install.
Will it change my checkout or how I get paid?
Not at all. Shoppers check out through your existing Shopify checkout and payments. PrintKit only handles the design step and the print-ready output — it never sees card numbers or bank details.
What exactly do I receive when an order comes in?
A print-ready 300-DPI file sized to your press, a shop-floor work ticket with the customer, order and full specs, and a one-click Production Pack that bundles everything so your bench can run the job without chasing artwork.
Can I run just one builder to start?
Yes. Turn on a single builder for $19/month, then add more at +$12/month each whenever you're ready. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
